Tirimbina is a non-profit organization, working on conservation, research and education.

Our goal is to protect a rainforest reserve, but also teach through conservation, that is possible to improve the live quality of the local communities.

For this reason we work, since 11 years ago, with 20 elementary schools and high schools around Tirimbina, in a environmental education program, that shows the importance to protect biodiversity, from the biological, social and economical perspective.

More than 1000 kids per year, get the benefits of the program, which is supported by ecotourism. All Tirimbina visitors help to maintain this program in the log term.
